Terms of service

These terms cover your use of AI Windes. By signing in you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be survived.

1. What the service is

AI Windes compares AI models on published pricing, specifications and third-party benchmark results, and recommends one for a described task. It is an analysis tool. It does not host, resell or provide access to any AI model.

2. It is free

There is no charge, no paid tier and no card on file. We may introduce paid features in future, but we will not start charging for anything you already use without telling you first, and nothing will convert automatically.

3. Recommendations are information, not advice

This is the most important clause on the page. Recommendations are arithmetic over third-party benchmark data and published prices. They are not professional, legal, financial or procurement advice, and they carry no guarantee of fitness for your workload.

• Benchmarks measure benchmark performance, which is a proxy for real-world behaviour, not a substitute for it.
• Prices are list prices and exclude discounts, committed-use rates and negotiated agreements.
• Benchmark coverage is uneven; some models are ranked on less evidence than others, and the service says so when that is the case.
• The catalogue is a snapshot and may be out of date at the moment you read it.

4. Your account

Sign-in links are personal. Don't forward them — anyone holding a valid link can sign in as you until it is used or expires. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to your account.

You must be old enough to enter a contract in your jurisdiction, and at least 16.

5. Acceptable use

Don't:

• Scrape, bulk-download or systematically extract the catalogue, or use the service to rebuild a competing dataset.
• Attempt to break, overload or circumvent rate limits, authentication or any other technical control.
• Use the service unlawfully, or to infringe anyone's rights.
• Resell access or present the output as your own independent research.

Reasonable personal or internal business use is fine, including quoting figures in an internal document as long as the source is attributed.

6. Third-party data

Pricing, specifications and benchmark results come from third parties, including Artificial Analysis and Design Arena, and remain the property of their respective owners. We present that data as-is. We do not warrant its accuracy, completeness or currency, and we cannot correct an upstream error on your behalf — though we will pass on anything you report.

Model names and trade marks belong to their owners. Their appearance here is descriptive and implies no endorsement, affiliation or partnership in either direction.

7. Availability

The service is provided as-is and as-available. It is free, so we make no uptime commitment, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it. If we discontinue it entirely, we will give notice by email where we reasonably can.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or costs arising from a model choice you made using this service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Ending it

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to contact@aiwindes.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaches section 5, and we will say why unless doing so would be unlawful.

10. Changes to these terms

We will email account holders before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the revised terms. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's place of business, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing here removes a consumer protection you have under the mandatory law of your own country of residence.
